Religious Education News

We have a new Director of Religious Education. Her name is Sister Doryne Bermoy, FLP. Sister Doryne will form one School of Religious Education for the parish community of Holy Family & St. Thomas Aquinas. Classes will be on Wednesdays and Fridays, after school, from 3:30 p.m. to 5 p.m. and there will be one class on Sunday morning at 10 a.m. Children will attend only one day of class.

CCD registration takes place in the Rectory.

Our religious education program is for children who attend public schools. Volunteers are needed to help us enlightened our children about God & our beliefs. You can help no matter what your level of education, a good heart and soul is all that is required.

All Catholic children in Grades 1 through 8 who attend Public School should come to Religious Education Classes.

All new students must present their original Baptismal Certificate at the time of registration. Additionally, transfer students need to bring proof of previous Religious Education enrollment along with any other sacraments. Each year parents/guardians must re-register their children.

FEES:

~ Two Children ~ $70
~ Three or more Children ~ $90
Religious Education classes begin every September.

Registración para la Comunión y Confirmación se llevarán en septiembre.
Requisitos:
1) Nuevos estudiantes deben traer el Certificado de Bautismo.
2) La donación es de $45 para libros y otra materiales.
3) Los padres deben asistir a misa con sus hijos los domingos.
Los padres deben ser miembros registrados en la parroquia de Sagrada Familia y San Tomás Aquino.

CHILDREN'S LITURGY
OF THE WORD

Jesus said "Let the little children come to Me!" At the 9 a.m. and 11 a.m. Masses each Sunday, we offer the opportunity for our children to participate in a special celebration of a Children's Liturgy of the Word consisting of song, reading, instruction and fun. Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults

The R.C.I.A. prepares both non-Catholics and those Catholics who have not received the Sacraments for full participation in the life of the Church. Candidates for the R.C.I.A. are:
* Those who are not baptized:
* Those baptized in another Christian denomination who wish to become Catholic:
* Those who have been baptized in the Catholic Church but who have not yet received the Sacraments of Communion and Confirmation.

El Rito de Iniciación Cristiana para Adultos

El Rito de Iniciación Cristiana para Adultos es un programa para preparar a Católicos y no-Católicos que no han recibido los sacramentos que los permiten una participación plena en la vida de la Iglesia. Candidatos para el R.I.C.A. son:
* Quienes no han bautizados:
* Los bautizados en otra denominación cristiana que quieren pertenecer a la Iglesia Católica:
* Los que han sido bautizados en la Iglesia Católica, pero que no han recibido los sacramentos de la Comunión y Confirmación.

Si Usted es mayor de 16 años, o si Usted sabe de alguna persona que está interesada en este programa, por favor acérquese a la oficina de la Casa Cural y llene la planilla de registración.
