PASTORAL PLANNING

The Pastoral Plan for Holy Family - St. Thomas Aquinas Parish is now complete!

We need your help to transform our plan into a reality. The time for Action is NOW!!!!

 

EDUCATION:

1) Organize a campaign to encourage regular Bible Reading ~ facilitated by José Galarza & Mark Brennan.

2) Form English Bible Study group to meet weekly before the 12:15 p.m. Mass. A group has been formed which meets every Tuesday at 11 a.m. in the Rectory and is facilitated by Deacon John.

3) Form English Bible Study group to meet weekly in the evening. A group has been formed which meets every Monday at 7:30 p.m. in the Rectory and is facilitated by Edith Newman.

4) Bilingual Lenten program to study important Church documents. This group will be facilitated by Mark Brennan, José Galarza and Alba Amador.

COMMUNITY:

1) Create bilingual plan to include the whole parish in the Feast of Our Lady of Guadalupe. This effort will be facilitated by Marina Cora.

2) Create bilingual plan to include the whole parish in devotion to Our Lady of El Cisne. This effort will be facilitated by Maciel Honores & Vicenta Gamba.

3) Annual Parish Unity celebration for the Saturday prior to the Feast day of Corpus Christi. This effort will be facilitated by Mañuel Saldaña.

4) Expand First Friday devotion to the Sacred Heart to include Bilingual evening Mass. This effort will be facilitated by the Ladies of the Sacred Heart.

5) Bilingual Rosary in the Holy Family garden on Sundays in May & October. This effort will be facilitated by Suzanne Simonetti.

WORSHIP:

1) Create a Ministers' committee to learn about that Mass and teach others. This effort will be facilitated by Peggy Burke, Marina Cora, Jesús Ortiz & Fr. Ngozi.

2) Create a buddy system for Lectors & Ministers of Communion. This effort will be facilitated by Marina Cora, José Galarza & Vicenta Gamba.

3) Create opportunities for dialogue after Mass to discuss readings and homilies. This effort will be facilitated by José Concepción & Sally Pierre.
